Society Scholarships

Applications for the 2026 Tertiary Scholarship Program will open on 1 March 2026.

This scholarship is designed to support our members and their families in pursuing higher education. If you are a previous scholarship recipient, we invite you to apply again, provided you meet the following criteria:

Eligibility Requirements:

A member (or a child or grandchild of a member) under 25 years of age
Enrolled in full-time study at an Australian University or TAFE
University: Undergraduate degrees only
TAFE: First two years of Certificate III or above, or Diploma course (TAFE Courses for Apprenticeships are ineligible)

What you’ll need to submit:

Completed Scholarship Application Form
Verification of your 2026 Full-Time enrolment
Evidence of satisfactory academic performance (Year 2 and beyond)
Your Bank Account details (must be your account, not that of your parents)

Other Conditions:

Notify us if you receive a bursary or scholarship from any other organisation.
The Society’s Board of Directors administers scholarships, and all decisions are final.
Hurstville & Rockdale Friendly Society Ltd reserves the right to vary scholarship conditions.

Important Dates:

Applications Open: 1 March 2026
Applications Close: 31 May 2026
Payments Made: during June 2026

Apply by completing an Application form. Please submit all required documentation before 31 May 2026.

Late applications cannot be accepted.
